Blood glucose instability — the cycle of peaks and crashes — generates sustained oxidative stress on the cells that manage it. Pancreatic beta cells and muscle cells are particularly mitochondria-dependent. MitoQ metabolic wellness addresses both sides simultaneously: mitochondrial protection and insulin signalling support.

What it supports

  • Mitochondrial function in insulin-producing pancreatic beta cells
  • Insulin receptor sensitivity via chromium's kinase activation
  • Stable blood glucose levels through the day
  • Zinc's structural role in insulin storage and secretion
  • Cinnamon polyphenols inhibiting PTP1B (an enzyme that reduces insulin sensitivity)
  • Antioxidant protection against glucose-driven oxidative stress

Ingredients

MitoQ (mitoquinol mesylate) — 10mg
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) bark extract — 200mg
Zinc (as zinc amino acid chelate) — 14mg
Chromium (as chromium picolinate) — 500mcg

Per 2-capsule serving.

Directions

Take 2 capsules with water 30 minutes before eating.

Why we stock it

The combination is deliberately targeted. MitoQ protects the mitochondria in beta cells and muscle tissue against the oxidative stress that glucose dysregulation generates, while chromium picolinate acts on insulin receptor kinase activity and cinnamon's type-A proanthocyanidins inhibit PTP1B — an enzyme that otherwise reduces insulin sensitivity. Zinc is a structural cofactor in insulin hexamer formation in the pancreas. I recommend it for anyone with fasting glucose creeping up, afternoon energy crashes, or metabolic syndrome patterns where both mitochondrial protection and insulin support are needed.
